Some of my favorite trips and explorations of all time
This winter (2026) I was lucky enough to go to this amazing country not once but twice. We went skiing in Svaneti, which is the high alpine mountains there, but also in Bakhmaro, which are the smaller Caucasus range and super special because there is only cat skiing there. No resorts, no lifts, not even any roads -- you have to get around by snow cat. It was some of the best skiing of my life, mostly because of the non-stressed, endless powder days and also because of the food hehe.
Ever since I started freediving I've been dreaming about visiting the cenotes in Mexico. Cenotes are cave-like holes filled with fresh water, situated in the middle of the jungle. We were lucky enough to connect with a couple of local cenote legends who took us to the best secret spots. The most special thing about these water holes is that when the sun is in the right position, it creates a light beam under water that looks like a cathedral. Diving in the light beam is amongst the most transcendent moments of my life.
Everything aligned for us during this incredible week sailing from Maniitsoq, Greenland. We skied some of the most scenic lines of my life, sailed through glassy fjords, fished our own dinner every day and we even dived amongst ice bergs!
I was super randomly invited to come on one of the most unique trips I've been on, to Magdalena Bay in Mexico, for marlin diving and tagging. Being in the water with these insanely speedy fish was some of the coolest underwater experiences of my life. This was also a film project, and I got roped in as the BTS photographer. See the film here:
The summers tend to pull me to the North, so past couple of years I've spent a few weeks roadtripping and camping in Lofoten, Norway. Days are spent climbing, hiking, cooking outside, swimming in the fjords, kayaking, diving... Nights are spent on top of the car in my roof top tent or on top of mountains in a sleeping bag right on the ground.
It's been a dream of mine to dive with whales and in October 2022 I finally got the opportunity. During this trip to French Polynesia, I got in total 6 unreal encounters. Some of the most special moments of my life.
Japan ski dream
Skied the best powder and tree lines of my life here. Also skiing amongst volcanoes and giant fumeroles is just something you don't get everywhere. Japan is the most interesting culture I've visited so far, with potentially the best food. Can't wait to go back some day.
Me and my Austrian friend Carmen Huter did this 5 day hike through a part of Switzerland. We walked many kilometers and verticals every day and slept in 4 different mountain huts along the way.
Utah
Possibly the coolest place I've visited on this Earth. We lived out of a van for a week as we explored and climbed around this natural playground. I also got to wake surf on Lake Powell, which might have been a top three moment in life.
Climbing Chamonix
Summer here is so good. Doing big adventures every day - hiking, climbing, scrambling while sleeping in a tent or bivy every night. This is part of the reason why I decided to move here.
Spent 10 days in a van with a photographer friend, drove around the Alps and did everything from summiting Austria's highest mountain Grossglockner to mountain biking in Lake Garda.
Boarded the boat Westland in Sunnmørealps in Norway one spring, to sail and ski amongst the fjords for the second time in my life.
