Possibly the coolest place I've visited on this Earth. I have a sneaky nerdy interest in geology, so this American state with all its red rock formations, slot canyons and desert lakes blew my mind. We lived out of a van for a week as we explored and climbed around this natural playground. I also got to wake surf on Lake Powell, which might have been a top three moment in life.
